Morales just has better defense. It's no secret that Khan's defense sucks and Morales was able to roll with most the punches Maidana threw.

What really surprised me was how Morales withstood the body attack.

No, it goes to show what simple head/ upperbody movement can do. Khan is too squared up, his only defense is his legs. Khan should work on his head/ upperbody movement.

Yea his defence was great tonight and a lot of boxers really on their legs or their gloves to block punches but they get tagged alot. But on another note the british commetary was hillarious. They all sound like a bunch of but hurt little girls bc maidana was about to ko their hero same with the posters on here.

Maybe Morales has better ability to absorb the punches as well as better defensive maneuver up CLOSE.

idk, im not bought on maidana. i kinda wanna say he is a bit hyped up. yes he has lots of KOs, but against nobodies. ortiz would be his biggest stoppage, morales his biggest name. he got outboxed by amir, who has a suspect chin, and given a boxing lesson from a past-prime fighter with one eye. he gasses out like **** for a young guy, and throws some pretty crazy punches. like katsidis, pressure and power can only take you so far in boxing....i don't see anything too good about maidana to praise him.
khan's win against maidana was a pretty good one, for khan at this stage of his career. i think once khan moves up or the fighters around him get more developed skills (since 140 is pretty filled with younger fighters) then he'll start getting more notable and solid wins.

ah.....just 3 fights ago people were saying khan was and i quote

"khan is too scared to face maidana"

"khan is a hype job glass chinned overrated paper champ who aint ever gonna beat chino he does not have the chin to do so"

so for a guy who according to many on here before that fight was overrated, over protected, glass chin hype job paper champion who would have been KTFO in the 1st round again.....and when december 11th came he proved all wrong even if half the guys on here say it was a close fight what a load of crap.....from rounds 1-9 or 1-8 khan was winning and was indeed CLOSE to getting stopped in the 10th round somehow prevailed....not bad for a guy who was called all those things which some have abit of truth to but fact remains you fan boys are really predictable just happens when a legend like morales takes maidana to school in a miracle performance you all start slating khan....typical
