I don't think Maidana took this fight seriously. I don't think he trained. Throughout boxing history there have always been ****** fighters who run hot and cold with how the train for any given fight. How can we compare this fight or his fight against Corley with his fight against Khan?

If I am wrong and Maidana did train hard, then it does make Khan look pretty bad. Bradley would have destroyed this version of Maidana for sure.

I was surprised by the result, but not surprised that maidana has proved himself to be merely a swinger, roundhouse punces all the time etc. I saw that in the Khan fight.

But still, I thought that he was bound to conect with a few on Morales which Morales would not be able to stand up to. Well, he proved me wrong. And I still thank he should not be fighting.

No Morales and Khan would be no good for Morales. I have never liked Khan and have always liked Morales, but Khan moves and punches far too fast for present day Morales.
Tonight, it was only because Maidana is slow, and roundhouses his punches that allowed Morales to do better than we all thought. I for sure, felt that Morales would do a lot worse than he did.

He is still a worn out fighter, and should retire. He;s done enough in his career to always be in the top rank of Mexican fighters.
