Golden Boys fault for rushing this guy into fights right after prison looking to line their pocketbooks instead of giving him adequate time to prepare in the gym.

how did they rush him? he was in prison for 2 years and he had to make up for lost time....was he supposed to have a long wait in between fights after he got out? he had to shake the rust off by getting back in the ring...ichida had like 6 KO's he was supposed to be a soft touch. but of course in hindsight eveything is always right. goldenboy did the right thing with him...kept him active with some weak opposition. not goldenboys fault he got rocked by a guy who isnt even a puncher.

Agreed. Kirkland's reaction to every KD was getting worse and worse. I don't necessarily agree with Cortez putting a knee on James to keep him from getting up.

However, if Cortez was aware of there being a minute left in the round, that probably played a big part in him expecting Kirkland to take more unneeded punishment.
