MGM Grand, Las Vegas - In a shocking upset, Japan's Nobuhiro Ishida (23-6-2, 7KOs) destroyed previously undefeated James Kirkland (27-1, 24KOs) in the first round of their bout which was set for a catchweight of 158-pounds. Early in the first, Ishida dropped Kirkland hard hook as he was coming. Ishida continued the assault with a combination that nearly sent Kirkland throught the second corner ropes.

Well to be fair this is his 3rd fight within like a 4-5 WEEK span. I don't think you can really train the proper way to fight. I'm sure he was sleeping on this dude. Not saying Kirkland is all that but he definitely shouldn't have been stopped by this guy lol.
