The kid is 22 and just fought one of the most savy veterans around his weight. AND fought terrific. How is that exposed?

Every fighter who loses once is a bum who should never fight again right? Maybe you should get off your computer and try fighting 2 rounds and see how you feel.

Also Pascal was not exposed, he is lineal light heavyweight champ for crying out loud. Bhop is a tough night for ANY 175 regardless of his age.

Bute has already fought good enough comp where if he loses its just a loss he is way past the point where he can be "exposed", he is a genuine world class fighter.

Nobody said anything like that before the fight. Rubio was there to lose.
Also, he did not fight a terrific fight. He fought like an idiot, and got beat by a journeyman.

Troll thread, can't believe that people are even arguing this.

Pascal and Bute both have beaten many 'Rubio's' over their careers.

Lemieux having more upside then Bute...GTFO

There is no substitute for experience, ever, ever, ever, especially in a boxing ring.

Rubio ain't no Camacho Jr. either.

Now we'll see what Lemieux is really made of, needs to round out his game and understand that you can throw power shots all night, not everybody folds so easily.

As soon as I saw the articles about Lemieux-Martinez talk had a flashback to the talk of a Andy Lee-Pavlik title bout days before the Vera fight. Similar situation. And yes he did fight a great fight as he was dominating untill the last two rounds when he got rocked. Rubio was sent there to lose but we all knew well before this fight that Rubio is a live dog.

Who would you consider "good enough" opposition? Andrade who had already gotten destroyed by Kessler?

Or Miranda who had already gotten beat by Arthur Abraham and Ward?
