I don't like Arum but I agree with him.

Sadly, you're probably right. I hate how these alphabet belts screw over the less popular fighters all because they'll make less money with their sanctioning fees.Comment

This is a good interview.
I'd love to hear more dirt on Al Haymon by some of the other promoters. Hauser has written about Haymon and has stated that it is difficult to get people talking about Al Haymon.
I wonder what this means for a potential Pacquiao-Berto clash? I think Berto definately needs to be built up a lot more than he is, but he is a champion and ranked #3 by Ring Magazine.Comment

Top Rank Promotions CEO, Bob Arum, had some interesting things to say about the industry during a recent interview with BoxingScene.com in New York.

arum is a real promoter. everyone else are just booking agents. but you better have a good fanbase or you might get lost in his stable.Comment

You took the words right out of my mouth. Arum, King, Haymon, GBP, Shaw, Dibella, etc are ALL greedy scumbags.. but Arum is the king of promotion now. Don King used to be the king however even though him and Arum are close to the same age, Don is just too old to do the job Arum has done recently...Comment

arum dropping knowledge.
arum is the man at PROMOTING.
alexander/bradley was one of the most important fights, but was placed NOWHERE.... and was a complete flop.
cotto/foreman was pure genius from beginning to end... was a fairly meaningless fight... but promoted excellently.
i scratch my head about pinoy power cards though....Comment
