Wow! He got clocked, and lost his legs? Sounds like he may have chin issues. Not a good scenario for a big power puncher. Just ask Jason Litszau.

Ya' gotta' leave something in the tank for the later rounds, no matter how powerful you punch. Just ask Wlad Klitshcko about that.

This sucks for Lemieux. I'm Canadian, and he was being pretty heavily hyped. Hopefully he can bounce back. Some fighters can, but a lot of times, it can totally derail a career. His confidence must be shot. I mean, it sounds like he thought he was gonna' walk right through this guy, and got stopped himself.

Sounds like he needs to learn some more technique, rather than relying purely on power.

One way or the other, it's A HUGE SETBACK.
Lemieux is all offense no defense. Stylistically being all offense and throwing power shots in boxing can get you so far. Pacquiao has great offense but underrated defense, his movement, and quickness, gets himself out of harms way. Lemieux comes out all guns glazing, but as the fight goes, he'll deteriorate, which is a problem.

Having said that, it's a learning curve for Lemieux - this is boxing. He has the fundamentals but going for the KO every fight, isn't the way to go. I believe you only go for the KO if the time arises and you smell blood.
