... also let's give credit where credit is due. Rubio has been in with the best and while not always distinguishing himself, is no fool. To get possibly the best win of his career after 50-60 fights is deserving of our respect. This is the sport we love and boxers are the athletes we love. I hope he savours this win.

Shobox stream here, I doubt showtime has people on it to shut it down, they're glad they get any ratings for this: http://veetle.com/index.php/widget#0...2981/true/16:9

He just needs to calm down. I picked him to win. I figured he'd get the stoppage, even. However, he was loading up on everything. Not just punches in the fight, but in his career.

Earlier, I was reading his interview on the main site and he was so far ahead of himself, that I started to worry. I'm not sure if he's overconfident or if he simply needs to work on keeping himself paced. Either way, I'd pick David in a rematch. Which I hope happens within the next year. It would serve him well to take a tune up and then give it another crack. Otherwise, with the way "fans" are today, this haunts him.

He's still got a load of potential and this loss may be the best thing for his career. Sucks for him though HBO was knocking on his door and he may never get that chance again. Nice job Rubio you deserved the win.
Don't you know that here at NSB if you loose you are over-rated, a bum, old or shot.

He fought immature. Hypejob label will only be applicable on how/if he bounces back.
