    Kobe, Japan - Mexico's Jhonny Gonzalez (48-7, 42 KOs) redeemed himself by knocking out Hozumi Hasegawa (29-4, 12 KOs) in the fourth round to win the WBC featherweight crown. Hasegawa was making the first defense of the vacant title he won from Juan Carlos Burgos last November. Gonzalez wanted reveneg after Toshiaki Nishioka traveled to Mexico in May of 2009 and knocked Gonzalez out in three rounds.

          Looks like the real Jhonny showed up this fight.

          Everyone talked about his chin, but Jhonny gave a prime Izzy Vasquez hell so it's cool to see he made the most of this opportunity.

            It's not surprising that Gonzalez won. I knew he'd give Hasegawa a very good fight, he's just always been let down by his durability issues.

                    Nice Cong**** to Gonzalez! Another Mexican world champion. It's a shame that Gonzalez doesn't have a very good chin, otherwise he would be one of the greats.
