That sounds good and all but the problem with that is Manny will be trying to face Floyd next. I just don't see Manny dropping down to 135 then back up to 147 to face Floyd in the very next fight. Maybe he can do that then take on Berto afterwards and then Floyd but I truly believe that if Manny and Floyd don't fight next spring, that fight will never happen.

I will say that is a good reason to have it at 135 though....and if he wins, which he will with ease, his wins at WW look that much better as that will be proof he was a LW all this time destroying these huge WW's.

Marquez gives Pac all he can handle at any weight. Its a style thing not a size thing. Pac was supposed to blow him out in their first fight. We know how that turned out.

1ST take Mayweather off your current active fighter list, 2nd We all know that Pac walks right thru Marquez punches and destroys him. Styles make fights Yes, but at this point Pacs gone beyond and above the level at which he previously faced Marquez. Jmm needs to focus on Judah anyways.

Titles have become less meaningful lately anyway and a pacquiao fight will do well whether there is a title up for grabs or not. Pacquiao vs Marquez is much more interesting to watch at 140 than 147, i dont think thats even debatable, so if it happens why not make it interesting and fight at 140 if thats Pacquiaos natural weight? At 140 Pacquiao still has an advantage over Marquez its just not as great.
