    I doubt it

Evander was, if my memory serves me right, a 42 or something to 1 underdog before fighting Tyson, precisely because he had lost some fights and looked on the slide

Mosley is what right now ? the odds ? probably under 10 to 1
Why are you just trying to make up #'s?

That was a badass fight. He showed a lot of heart in that fight. This is why Evander Holyfield is one of my favorite fighters. I think he had the flu or hepatitis or something during this fight.

maybe Evander looks like it in the Moorer fight but not this one.
He almost took him out in the 5th. That was a great fight. The trilogy, in general, is badass.

Can't agree more. The Bowe-Holyfield triology were 3 of the main fights that got me hooked onto boxing hardcore because of seeing them on ESPN ALL THE TIME. Ya'll remember when they use to show them URRYDAY? I heard of Holyfield but I never heard of Bowe so I thought Holyfield would murk him, then Bowe ends up winning the first fight I was like DAMN what the hell ever happened to this guy? One of the best triologies in boxing. If Bowe didn't go crazy I think he would have went down as one of the best to ever do it. Would have knocked Lewis out senseless. He would have been the man putting a beating on Vital.

I think Shane has a pretty decent shot just because he does hit hard and Pac is very aggressive and vulnerable to running into shots. Even Clottey messed his face up pretty bad. I think Pac goes down if Shane hits him with the same shot he rocked Floyd with, but Pac will probably win a decision although I think it will be a damn exciting fight.

There were a couple rounds were Holyfield looked alright but on a whole he looked like ass to me. He also completely fell apart after one of those good rounds. Inconsistency like that is not something you want to see from an aging boxer, another problem was that Bowe looked pretty bad also.

Bowe is a different fighter than Tyson so people were not looking at the right things and Holyfield always wanted that fight but going into that fight he deserved to be a huge underdog.

those were some of the LAST of the great HW fights....... where they actually boxed, fought, came in shape, and fought to win.

i had just moved to vegas after their 2nd fight and got to see holyfield in the forum shops at Caesars palace, it was funny too at the time because I saw a lady taking a picture with him, come to find out, she was my math teacher who had been on vacation that first week i had just enrolled into school, and when she came to back she had her pciture with him and i told her i saw her take it with him, good ice breaker because not only was she a boxing fan, but she was really patient with me and my piss poor attitude with math........

those were the days back in the day with the HW's, those were the last days of good HW competition. now, i'd rather watch a tough man competition or UFC than a HW boxing match.............

Holyfield was not fighting a heavyweight Pacquiao though. Mosley is stepping in with the best fighter in the world!

As Manny-Shane is compared to now it's like they are throwing a piece of dead meat to a knockout artist. I don't even like Evander. Biggest headbutt cheater the sport has ever known. He needs to retire already as well. But if Shane beats Manny that's what I would compare it to. They are not saying half the stuff they were saying about Evander, then that they are saying about Shane now. I'm a Pacfan but always first and foremost I'm a boxing fan that is 'Pessimistic' about hype. Remember to bump this thread if I'm proved right.
you must be newbie saying thing like that. LoL....
u said guy here is newbie, u're the newb to think evander butt tyson is cheating.
                    is skill.
watch more fight son... or brave yourself and go to the gim, ask the head coach you want to be a pro, he will teach you how to throw jab, 1-2 combo, counter lefthook and your head or elbow in the fight/match.

I remember well, my friend was a Holyfield fan and I was a Bowe fan at the time haha. I liked Bowes style and never really saw Holyfield as others did. I remember my friend used to go on about Holyfield being the baddest after the Tyson fights, that fool never shut up and whatever I said about Tyson not being the same went straight over his head. I was glad when Lewis (who I used to see regularly) got his wins over him because it shut my friend up and all his 'god is on holyfields side' BS I used to hear
