                That's extreme, I say they fall prey to social pressure and develop habits that are not sustainable. What they need is both a good financial consultant and self restraint.

                            That goes for all athletes too. Even the worst buisness decisions can be overcome if you don't have to pay child surport or give up half your assets.

                                They don't invest there money correctly and spend like crazy.

                                First thing they should do is get a financial adviser and a great accountant.

                                    A lot of athletes end up broke. Mostly boxers do because a lot of them come from poverty and lack education so they have very little business sense.

                                    Look at Tyson, the guy should write a book called "How Not to Spend Your Money".
