wow, that's a lot of faith in a guy known for being the oldest snake in Boxing. Arum probably was the snake that tempted Eve to eat the ****in apple!

Ward just needs to keep winning and his star will rise to the top when he is challenged by another star at some point in the future.

Urrahhh i didn"t do it< the truth will prevail!!!

What the **** was oscar talking about "the truth will prevail"????? He sounds like some guilty dude facing a murder rap, "the truth will prevail" ". It's pretty simple ****, Donaire either has a valid contract with top rank or he doesn't. Oscars acting like there's some sort of conspirocy going on, like the "truth" is hidden on some video tape somewhere and he's trying to dig it up.

Oscar, u just need to stop signing fighters without reading their contracts first, then u won't be in this situation, if they have a valid contract YOU CAN'T SIGN THEM. Not with a pen, not with a bag of money, not through a third party. That is the "truth" and it has here by "prevailed".

If Donaire is forced to stay with Top Rank for the end of the contract, Arum should do exactly what he asks for. Feed him to the lions, give him whomever he wants and either he gets beat (no big loss for Arum if he does) or he's happy and stays with Top Rank. I see it as a win/win for Arum at this point, I think the worst thing he could do is bench him because Donaire will leave and Arum would miss out on what big $$ fights can be made.

Ya, through all this I believe the fans will be the victorious party. We'll get Donaire against top competition (because Arum wants to make money off of him while he still can).

Even though Mares won against Vic, I'm not sour about it and am actually starting to like the young guy. Very mild-mannered and humble, best of luck to him.

i think you're talking a little bit of nonsense here. Boxing is a BUSINESS, not an emotional complexity of "hurt feelings" I've known successful business partners (for over 40 years) who hated eash other and NEVER spoke except as a matter of business.

Remember what I wrote the other day about the Larry Merchant disclosure of Marvin Hagler's warning to his mother when she tried to persuade him to leave Top Rank and go with Don King. "......if you ever interfere with my business again, I'll stop supporting you....' And he stayed with Top Rank his WHOLE career from start to finish, and was very happy about it.

This is Marvellous Marvin we're talking about not some 10 cent here today gone tomorrow firecracker.
