That's why this fight won't be made. There is not much Mayweather can gain from this fight. And a non-stellar performance would dilute his bargain power. Why bother? Remember, this is just a rumor.

Man the TS is a ******. Yesterday he was defending Pacquiao's win over Clottey, Margarito and his fight with Mosley. Today, he's saying Mayweather-Spadafora is worse than Pac-Clottey, Pac-Margarito, and Pac-Mosley. Meaning worse as in, he knows Pac vs Clottey/Marg/Shane are shit fights but that May-Spad is more of a shit fight, but that they're all shit fights to begin with.

So what's it gonna be, do you think Pac's recent fights are trash or not? You have to make up your mind.

And how will I react to Mayweather-Spadafora? I would buy it on PPV, pay $55 for it. Just like *******s will buy Pac-Mosley, bought Marg-Pac, and Pac-Clottey, Pac-Diaz. Mayweather really has nothing to gain other than his 3rd undefeated fighter on his resume. 41-0 vs 45-0 that's the only catch about this fight. Kinda like Hatton only Hatton was way more popular and had a better resume as far as names go.
