    yes, seriously.

    OP asked for "notable" wins.

Beating DLH (esp how he did it, w/ bodyshot) is notable by any standard.

      In no particular order
4 of them came up in weight, a lot, Johnson was green, and Tarver was coming DOWN in weight, about 35 lbs much of it muscle. In fact since that movie he has preen finished, like Jones after Ruiz. So they were all at some sort of disadvantage or other, apart from Hopkins' head and other fouls.

Otherwise, they were his best wins.

I see Winky Wrights name coming up quite alot.

People are choosing to forget that fight was at 170 pounds?

No they don't forge that Wright was almost a career long 154 lb'er, but it's too good an opportunity to make their man Hopkins into something he isn't.

Trinidad was a MW title holder
Pavlik moved up four pounds from 166, hopkins moved down 5 pounds. Pavlik and his trainer also expressed the desire to move up in weight as making 160 was "killing pavlik" (this was further proved when he weighed well over 180 pounds against Sergio Martinez)
Tarver - please don't use the rocky excuse, might as well use his excuse (which that he may have been poisoned)
Oscar just had a fight at 160 pounds, granted he didn't look good but he wasn't moving up (actually hopkins moved DOWN and weighed in at 156 pounds when Oscar demanded a catchweight of 158).
Winky is the only one that moved up significantly from 160 to 170 (hopkins moved down 5 pounds as well).

I agree, but what else are you going to put? Joppy or Allen? I guess Echols would be a good choice but I still have trouble putting it.

that is outrageous. Judges are terrible so often, and I dont see why what three crappy scorers think is something that should be set in stone.

Well, at least one good thing has come from this...now I know Sven Ottke is a ring legend.
