This sort of crap is typical of Golden Boy - Hatton-Canelo, Ortiz-Berto..joke title shots for undeserving fighters, while screwing over more deserving fighters like Angulo and Aydin. They also screwed over Dawson which is why he hasn't fought for a year, by conspiring with the WBC to garauntee Hopkins an immediate rematch with Pascal. The combination of the WBC, WBA and GBP are the most corrupt we've seen in boxing. They far are worse than Don King ever was. Golden Boy need to be put out of business for the good of the sport. Hopefully Arum destroys them before too long

This is golden boy's fault, the WBA is only partly to blame. Oscar and Schaefer actually petitioned them to make it for the full title and for Khan to be made super champion. They wanted Maidana to fight for the same title Khan beat him for only a few months ago. Absolute joke, and the WBA seriously considered it, but luckily thought better of it after the commotion following Canelo's BS title fight. Still Golden Boy forced them to make it a non-sensical interim title fight, with khan already having beaten maidana and fighting only a week or so after. like i said golden boy needs to **** off from boxing, they are deliberately turning it into wrestling with all these bs fights and belts
