Idiot. Maidana clearly won rounds 6,7,10(10-8 round) and 12, personally i gave him round 11 and you could argue that he won round 3 aswell. (that would be 6 rounds each)

It was a really close fight and Maidana would have a great chance if a rematch ever happens.

That would probably be the best thing for Morales. If he gets KO'd quickly he won't have enough time to take too much punishment. I like both Morales and Maidana but this is indeed an unnecessary risk for Morales. But hey, who am I to say he cannot fight this guy, he's a grown man who knows all the risks involved. Morales even called Maidana out and now he's got him. Let's just hope Morales comes out okay...
