It's part of boxing, whether you like it or not. Ali didn't use it as much as Wlad, but he used it a hell of a lot. Lewis did use it as much as Wlad. Hopkins uses it far more than Wlad, he probably uses it it more than anyone else ever has, and he frequently uses hitting and holding as an intentional tactic as well, not to mention feigning low blows. Jack Johnson used it more than Wlad, and is regularly ranked around #3 in the ATG Heavyweight lists.

Ali used the "measuring jab" tactic far more than Wlad does. So did Holmes.

A large majority of the ATGs have regularly used some illegal tactic or other. Duran was one of the dirtiest fighters of all time. You're sound unbelievably prissy sometimes when complaining about Wlad.

    I did and he wasn't.

as for the vids I have posted, theyre relevant anyway since that in all of them minus one, their heads don't even come close, so there are no headbutts possible

YOU AND EDGARG, ON THE OTHER HAND, HAVE SOMETHING TO PROVE, YOU HAVE TO POST EVIDENCE AND SLOW-MO VIDEOS TO PROVE YOUR POINT
We don't have to prove anything, stop watching c-r-a-p-p-y gifs and watch the fight. The headbutts are CLEARLY visible including the cruicial anvil of which Wlad never recovered.

What is this nonsense ("Prove it! Prove it! Post evidence!"), the evidence is the high quality close-up slomo of the knockdown, not some 12fps gifs. Just this short sequence that your gif features contains 2-3 headbutts which are not visible in your gif because it has such a cr*ppy quality AND is fast forward AND is tiny.

        Clinching is not illegal.

Nobody is worse than Ali ("Dirt Clay"). Clay's disgusting ring behavior (arm holding, neck grabbing, head-down-pushing, insulting) isn't even CLOSE to anything Wlad has ever done.

Additionally Clay holds 2-3 times as much per fight than Wlad did in his clinchiest fight (vs Peter I).

Let me also add that Wlad's clinching is merely a small fraction of his arsenal whereas Clay's holding was a major strategy due to Clay's lack of punching power and lack of reflexes. Clay's only chance was holding/neck-grabbing or running away ("floating").

Welcome to the fantasy world of Colonel Sandman.

He wasn't. Stop fabulating. Actually it was Sanders who looked scared.

No one beats Wlad by UD. If he wins it has to be by knockout. I think pretty much everyone will tell you that.

Holding is. Clinching is when a fighter is hurt and clinches in order to clear his head. That is legal. Holding is when a fighter is not hurt but ties his opponent up in order to prevent him from fighting. That is illegal. That said, it is rarely penalised except when the referee judges that an excessive amount of it is going on.
