His best opponent is Luis Collazo. I like Collazo but come on. And he hasn't fought anyone that good since that fight, which I thought he lost.

all he has to do is keep fighting and give the fans the FIGHTS THEY WAN TO SEE...and the credit will come

he is not going to get a match with Mayweather or Pacquiao so if he beats Ortiz, they he should focus on maybe fighting Mike Jones, if not Jones then a rematch with Luis Collazo or a match with Cintron

but he can't just sit around waiting for a fight with Pacquiao or Mayweather and take a bunch of BULL**** matches and not expect the fans to bash him

Berto has incredible talent...especially offensively, has some of the fastest hands in boxing and I think he has the BEST UPPERCUTS IN BOXING today and I don't think his chin is "WEAK" like some people say it is, every time he was hurt he recovered very well and recovered quickly...I don't consider that a "WEAK CHIN"...when Berto FIGHT HIS FIGHT he can be extremely hard to beat, but when he leaves the game plan and tries to "IMPRESS THE CROWD" like he did against Collazo and tries to get into a "BRAWL"...that is when all of his weakness becomes exposed...ESPECIALLY HIS DEFENSE

                Won a vacant belt against.....???

Has not defended against serious comp

IDK what skill you see, having fast hands does not = skill

sure he can crack, we have to give him that.

It is easier to look good when he is matched up with a fighter that is naturally smaller or a skill level below his speed.

There are european and russian fighters that he can fight but do not have much exposure here in Zaveck, Senchenko, Aydin, Ion or fight with the tough Soto-Karass.

Berto hasn't done anything but sign a lucrative contract with minimum gaurantees, why should he risk it?

He will be at the sidelines waiting for his big money fight to come. He is a non-player in the big picture and all he has is an undefeated record and a paper belt

but you should for the very reasons I expressed

because he is getting paid 7 figures guaranteed the competition level should match

and it should concern you as a boxing fan because it does take away from HBO's budget when he fights. As it stands HBO's budget is smaller than it was two years ago so any fight where Berto is on there and isn't tested is a waste of valuable air time and $$$ towards their budget
