WBC super middleweight champion Carl Froch has confirmed to Livefight that his bout with Glen Johnson will take place at Altantic City's Boardwalk Hall on June 4th. Froch had attempted to use his own cash to bring the fight to Nottingham but is now resigned to his third consecutive fight on the road. Ironically, Johnson is known as 'The Road Warrior' yet it is Froch who has to pick up his kit bag and fly out in order to take part in the Super Six semi-final showdown.

honestly, i think johnson got a surge of motivation watching hopkins pascal, it was the perfect motivational tool for a older fighter to get motivated to train his arse off to fight a young lion like froch.....

although johnson doesn't need anything to get him motivated, but i think that fight kicked him into gear by watching it.......... it has to get anyone over 40 fired up, that is still in the game.......

If it's Froch vs Ward it's gotta be In NYC or Vegas surely.

but just for debates sake, lets say Froch and Abraham make the final, would it even be worth holding it in the states? would that many US fans turn out for it?

If it's in Southern California, then it'll be a packed house. The local Armenians would show up in droves and at least some Froch fans would fly out for the final.

If it's Las Vegas, then even better. LA Armenians love Vegas, and Froch fans wouldn't pass out a chance to get wasted in sin city.

I also told you it was the predicament of guys like this one which was the reason for Froch trying to get the fight at home,

fair doo's, it was well worth a punt for Froch but now it's been knocked back we atleast all know where and when it's happening at last.

Unfortunately I'll have to give this one a miss, fingers crossed Carl makes the final, in the mean time I'll start a savings account to get over there later this year
