Froch has no option here, he'll have to win the Super 6 the hard way. Fighting away from home isn't ideal for Froch, but there isn't much he can do. I still believe Froch can ovecome the odds, and beat Ward in the final (If he can get past Johnson of course). Ward has had a home run really, I hope AA sparks him out though.

well in Nottingham all he would have to do is get it to the Cards and he would get the win regardless (just like the Dirrell fight)

I think Johnson gives Froch a very TOUGH MATCH but once again Johnson gets screwed, something that has happened a lot during his career

Okay, I must look at the fight again. I just remember that I was bored and wanted to see Froch engage more. It seemed to me if he would have applied some pressure after the 6th round (when Abraham was completely frustrated), he might have been able to get him out of there. I understand he would have put himself in harms way but it would have made statement. Instead I just found it hard to try and watch it considering the hype and build up that it would be a war...

And for the record, I have no idea who voted on Showtime recently regarding what tournament format they like better (the 6 fighter format tournament stage got a higher percentage than the 4 fighter tournament) but the 4 fighter tournament is better. It seems to me this 6 fighter tournament has been going on forever and we discovered several things...

            a) Both Jermain Taylor and Arthur Abraham were middleweights who didn't belong
            b) With the additional of Green who replaced Taylor, the fighters that fought Green got a huge handicap
            c) Both Taylor, Dirrell and Kessler dropped out due to various reasons but Kessler's seemed most suspect, especially now he will be rewarded with fighting Bute
            d) Why wasn't Bute included from the beginning.

If it were Dirrell, Ward, Froch, Kessler, Bute and Johnson from the start, this would have been much better. I am enjoying the bantamweight tournament more because you get a clear cut winner much quicker and the winner can move on to Donaire, Moreno, etc before the year is out. Whoever wins the Super Six won't get to Bute until early to mid 2012...

I bet the final is in California too. Ward clearly has some influential people backing him.

If Abraham advances, then it will be totally neutral. If they didn't like the terms though, they shouldn't of signed the contract...
According to the terms of the contract they signed, the referees and judges were supposed to be from neutral countries.

Yet somehow Andre Ward has been permitted to use his own crooked California Boxing Commission referees like Jack Reiss for all his fights.

If it's Froch vs Ward it's gotta be In NYC or Vegas surely.

but just for debates sake, lets say Froch and Abraham make the final, would it even be worth holding it in the states? would that many US fans turn out for it?
