Martinez would get no credit if he won. Kinda like Hopkins against Tito & De La Hoya.

im tired of this mayweather pussiness. even he himself has probably ran out of ways to duck pacquiao so i think martinez can be a good fight before retiring.
pac/martinez is a fantasy fight. unfortunately so is pac/wifebeater

Why should Pac move up to 154 when he weighed it 144 for a 150 catchweight fight? And Martinez is a nobody when it comes to PPV, he literally has not sold a SINGLE PPV in his entire career.

Pac and Roach have said that he wont fight above 47 anymore so it don't make sense when it comes to legacy or money. Thats what fighters fight for, Legacy and Money.

I cant think of anything better for pacs legacy than a victory over Martinez at 154.

I can't see Manny taking on Martinez before he fights Floyd. The only way is if he really feels that there is no way that a fight would happen with Floyd.

Also, I can see a Martinez fight as Manny's final challenge (then retire) IF he decides to take on a Martinez.

Weight limit may be such a big issue that this fight may never happen.

I want to see how berto does against ortiz first. He would need a very impressive when for me to buy into that.

Its clear at this point in pacs career top rank, konz, roach, pac, and some of his fans do not want pac to fight anybody who could possably beat him.
