The thinking behind it is that Floyd was talked about fighting in England and MGM held a date for March 13 for Floyd-Malignaggi.

So when the Earthquake hit Haiti and Mosley became available. There was no reason not to make Floyd-Mosley. The thinking is that Floyd had nowhere to run. And, felt the pressure of making Floyd-Mosley.

However, fact is Floyd doesn't care what anybody thinks of him. He doesn't care about the fans and his actions have made that perfectly clear. Floyd does what he wants, when he wants. If Floyd did not want to fight Shane he would have never fought him period. Nobody can make Floyd do something he doesn't want to do.

And, either way if he was forced or not what does it matter? He still whooped his ass. That's all that counts, whether he was forced or not.

yep, last time we had one of these stories he came back to the ring, I'm sure it's no coincidence that he's been more vocal in the media of late.

this right hurrr. Plus people forget he was trying to fight Alvarez, Matthew Hatton, or Paulie. Either of the three wurrr on his "hitlist"

When Mosley became available, as a result of the Haiti earthquake making Berto Withdraw, thurr wasn't any May would get away with his Bull**** hitlist without loosing ALL respect from boxing fans, and insiders. Yeah! He was basically forced into the Mosley fight, as Shane-May had been steady build, since the aftermath of Floyd-marquez, and their little confrontation.
