Floyd wouldn't be as good as he is today or as he was at his peak without Roger.
Floyd would still be a great fighter without his uncle. His uncle made him a better offensive fighter, but it was his dad who made him a great fighter.

Reason is right. Roach made Pac what he is today. Do you really think Pac would be where he is today if Buboy was his full time trainer?

Would Duran have been Duran without Ray Arcel?
Would Tyson have been Tyson without D'Amato and Rooney?

I don't really see how having a good teacher makes you any less of a student.

Roach got the best out of Pac, made him a better fighter, and his skills compliment Pac. Roach does not get enough credit for the game plan and strategy he creates before the fights.

Duran would still have been an ATG.

Nah, Floyd was just born into the hands of a family of world-class boxers, starting with his father (who fought Sugar Ray Leonard), and a couple of former world champion uncles. A boxing atmosphere and good genetics doesn't hurt.

Still though, what amazes me most about Floyd Jr. is his in-the-ring boxing IQ. It's unbelievable.

No, he would have been a wild clubfighter for his entire life. Duran had talent but he was a maniac when he first started fighting.

He may of still been a great fighter but he wouldn't be as great as he was in his peak. Floyd says himself Roger contributes alot to his career, and he did and still does.

Of course Pacqiauo wouldn't be as great as he is today. But what does that matter? He does have Roach as his trainer. And he has become a great fighter under his wing.

Everyone has a trainer and pretty much any fighter in history has a trainer that contributes to their greatness.

Just like BigStereotype beautifully put it, Duran without Arcel and Tyson without D'Amato and Rooney wouldn't have been as great either.

                  Literally means nothing.

We understand this, we just dont care about "what ifs". We only care about results and the fact is, Pac's results are better than Floyds. Who gives a ***** who "would" be better or who "could" accomplish more without a trainer. Fact is, Pac IS #1 and Pac HAS accomplished more.
