showtime will take this fight on mainstream. they had to prove that they can promote this fight bigger than hbo could. they had to. so i wouldn't be surprised if this fight would surpass the may/mosley fight. plus, there hasn't been any big fight since the pac/marg fight. fans are hungry for it. unless mayweather breaks it by fighting before pac's fight. even then, it won't diminish it, but probably make it even bigger.
