I Literally Have No Interest In Mosley/Pacquiao Fight Camp 360

To tell you the truth, I'm not interested in the fight to begin with. I understand devoted Pacquiao fans being interested, but as just a fan of Pacquiao, there is nothing appealing about this fight, hence, nothing appealing about what Showtime is doing. We are learning nothing new from the Mosley/Pacquiao camp.

Agreed. I didnt buy the Margarito fight, and I wont be buying this one. Pac only has a year or two of top level fights left in him, and he's wasting them on old fighters for easy money. No thanks.

Boxing exposure for the first time in a long time CBS is crap? I see no way it hurts the sport, it may not help but stop being an idiot, it does not hurt the sport. Just because you don't like the fight and are all pissy about it doesn't mean everyone feels the same way.

Top Rank is the reason why versus will not get into the pro boxing business. Because, Top rank killed boxing for that network. Which hurts the sport.

Nothing to do with boring personalities. Cotto has boring personality yet can draw people to his fights. People will watch when there is excitement.

the problem with this fight is, they're trying to push a fight as meaningful and exciting with a fighter that was clearly dominated in his last fight.

They're not pushing for **** as far as the credibility of this fight.

I agree with you there is nothing to learn from this 360 series, I saw it. I don't expect them to buck dance and act like Floyd either. It's the entire promo itself, the way it's executed that's the problem.

Same as 24/7, they're just following these guys around showing their daily routines (playing pool, riding in a limo etc,.), it's irrelevant. Why not narrow it down to 30 minutes of good FIGHT ANALYSIS, with experts commenting on Mosley's chances, including Richardson and Freddie Roach.

I like HBO's Face-off, that works and is interesting. You can have a similar thing with the trainers. That's promoting the fight for what it is, A FIGHT. This seems like one of those MTV shows, A Day in the life of (Insert random Celebrity's name here).

Just like Mayweather vs Oscar. A ****-ton of casual fans watched that fight. The fight was boring as hell. Many of those casual fans went back to watching other sports. Because when you represent something as the biggest fight in boxing and it bores them, they wont come back. This fight will bring in some more casual fans who will be bored to death by a one sided beating of an old man. So yeah, lots of potential for this fight to hurt boxing.

Luckily here in the UK we get the fight free. But in all honesty I would probably pay anyway regardless to the fact I resent this fight.

But personally, the episode bored the hell out of me. I just find Pacquiao so boring outside the ring, it's the same thing every single fight he has. And it just bores me.

I found myself looking forward to Shane's parts. Something I don't think I have ever done. Shane's the same, he says the same thing every time and also bores me but at times I genuinely was looking forward to Shane's parts in the episode.

I can't see the build up for this being very exciting, at all. I expect;

Pacqiuao: "He's bigger then me, stronger than me. I want to do my job and win, for the fans. Will be a good fight and i will do my best"

Mosley: "People are underestimating me. I am here to prove everyone wrong, everyone though I would lose to Margarito, look what happened. When I win I will have proved everyone wrong once again."

They're hurting it, because the premise is all wrong. They're promoting the fighters and the event and not the sport of Boxing itself. Why not reintroduce the sport itself to these mainstream viewers?

Why not do some analysis on the history of the sport, the evolution of Boxing and the great fighters that came and went, and where Mosley and Pacquiao tie into all of it.

Why not educate the fans more on who Pac is as a fighter, and what he has accomplished. Same for MOsley. Instead they're working under the premise that all the viewers already know everything about them, and they just need to put a camera into their daily lives and press record, followed up by some fine editing/production. If your attention is to draw in fans who don't already know everything there is about the fighters, then they're doing a **** job at it.

We, the hardcore's don't need these promos to tune in, and we don't make our choices on whether we will shell out 50 bucks based on these Promos. We will make that choice based on other factors.
