Gamboa getting continually better = bad for Juanma.... I like them both though. I just don't see Juanma capable of keeping Gamboa down for good... The boy just gets back up every time... Juanma has been hurt by ordinary punches... i just don't know :/

june of 2012 ? this fight will never happen. one of them will get picked off and that will take some luster out of the fight. for some reason i don't think juanma really wants to fight. all you here out of his mouth is that this is a business and gamboa just wants to fight.

He did the same **** to Caballero. When they were both at 122 and titlists, Lopez jumped up before unifying and made Caballero follow him. Now he's going to make Gamboa follow him. Disgusting.

I agree its a bull**** fight but a fight with Marquez will generate money that fights with the other guys at 126-130 wont.

He avoided Cab without a doubt but in this case even Gamboa has talked about moving up and its clear Arum isnt making this until he feels its at its peak financially.

Not sure to be honest. I favor Gamboa.

Everybody knows they are vulnerable and hittable. And even though Gamboa hasnt been rocked , he has been down by fighters with not even half the power that Lopez has.

I think they both have kind of weak chins. And maybe 130 keeps Lopez more solid and stronger.

4 pounds doesnt sound like much , but when it comes to cutting weight it might weaken you just a bit. So who knows if those 4 pounds make up.

But I dont think 130 is too big for Gamboa.

When he hydrates after weigh in, what weight does he usually come in at?

As far as success goes against that division's opponents maybe it will be a bit tougher. I dont really see anybody as skilled as Lopez and Gamboa in that division. But size might be too much.

How did he avoid Caba? That is such an unfounded myth, he was a title holder for about 1 year at SBW and moved up, if you have trouble making weight its what these guys should do. Have you seen JuanMa? He is bigger than everyone he fights, if he has to move up again what is the problem?

Bob Arum won't do this fight until he can put it on PPV, charge $40 to $50 a pop and **** the fans. F**k Arum...

He avoided Cab by saying he wasnt a draw and that he brought nothing to the table and then going on to fight Mtagwa and Luevano.
