Im 50 percent with pauli. I agree top rank did a poor job with him, and if he thinks gdp is gonna do better then **** yeah u gotta make a move. But u can't go sign with another company while ur still under contract. If he really wanted to go to gdp he should have taken the contract issue before a judge, or figured out a buy out number with bob. The LAST thing doniare needs is to be on the shelf while this crap gets worked out, which could take months. He shot himself in the foot and the crapy thing is he didn't have to. He needs a REAL manager like yesterday...this should have never got so ****ed up

Paulie, keepin it real, as usual.

Top Rank sold Donaire out, it was criminal denying him fights on Pac's u/card.

What a greedy b1tch Bob Arum is.

IMHO that is breech of contract, because it can be proven that Arum did not do his best to promote Donaire, and missed many opportunities to highlight Nonito's talent in front of his native countrymen.

Nonito should see out his contract, but refuse to talk to Bob Arum unless through a lawyer, and then ditch that scumbag and blast him in the press.

If Arum was no longer running Top Rank, Nonito could have pressured duBoef/Trampler to fight on Pac's undercards. I can't wait until he is gone.

you could look at it the other way around. Maybe they tought Donaire's KO over Darchinyan was a fluke and he was not ready because before that Nonito didnt do ****

Possibly he was not yet ready to face the likes of Agebko and with careful matchmaking facing bums they made him face Montiel at the right time.
Do you really believe that ?

But when we talk about Pacquiao you're free to suppose and suppose, assume, criticize.... hahaha.... Your genius bull**** is ok for your a$$ Lick3ers, but with the guys with BRAIN, you **** doesn't work !!
Pac is the boss idiot. I would think that Pac would be asked if Donaire can be featured on his undercard. Right or wrong? All of them played a part in $h!tting on Donaire. And Arum was confirmed as saying Floyd wanted $100,000,000. That didn't come from Floyd himself and believe me. I looked on the net searching for it.

The old legal saying we used to have was "The lawyer who represents himself in court, has a fool for a client". And even all the *** haters MUST admit, that ARUM IS NO FOOL.

Certainly he probably casts his eye over everything before he allows it to go out, but the REAL work must be done by HIS lawyers. Neither he nor any big promoter who is the public face of his organisation will tell you this, but I'm almost certain it is true. It's business.
That is obviously correct, regardless as to his qualifications and Harvard background, Arum does not perform legal work for Top Rank. He is a boxing promoter, and he has a legal team that handles contracts, litigation, etc.

And in that contrac t, is a LEGAL clause which states that Top Rank have the OPTION of extending the contract for ONE calandar year, which option Top Rank has stated publically it intends to to exercise.

AND that even WITHOUT that option, the PRESENT contract contains clauses which EXTEND the contract by the amount of medical suspensions suffered by Donaire during the life of the contract.

THIS happens to be 2 six month periods, that is ANOTHER year. So even without the option, Donaire's contract STILL has another year and 3 months to run.

So why the hell would Malignaggi be so DUMB as to say what he has just said, as if Donaire was as free as a bird, to fly away whenever he felt like.

One of the foundations of civilized life is the legal contract, binding parties to COMMIT to certain actions. Without legal contracts, even though the US is the most lawyer ridden country in the world, weall would be in such a MESS that nothing ever would work properly, and civilization would be doomed.

Malignaggi is just "too quick off the mark" here and obviously has NOT followed the situation at all. And you guys who are so much in agreement with him, show a real lack of common sense....to say the very, very least.

Donaire's contract, as far as I can see the published facts, runs until June 20-25th 2013.

And there's nothing that Donaire or Golden Balls can do about it, unless Top Rank wishes to let him leave.
I like HOW you MADE a RANT about YOUR logic WITH every OTHER word IN caps LOCK. your RANT sounds LIKE you saw THE contract YOURSELF. it's NOT your BUSINESS what THE contract SAYS. you're ONLY going WITH what BOB arum SAYS. paulie HAS every RIGHT to say WHAT he SAID. and DO you NOT agree THAT donaire FIGHTING on THE undercard OF chavez JR are BULL**** fights THAT did NOT give DONAIRE any EXPOSURE? paulie IS saying HE understands THE move. IF you WERE in DONAIRE'S shoes, WOULD you NOT do THE same? WITH all THE talent HE has, WHY isn't HE fighting ON hbo's BAD or SHOWTIME fights MORE often??? THAT was THE story HERE. you WENT on A rant ABOUT something THAT is NOBODY'S business, BUT the PROMOTERS and LAWYERS. stop BEING a WANNABE promoter AND just WATCH boxing.

I struggle to see how Manny has a controlling influence over how that greedy b1tch Arum stacks his undercards? Can someone enlighten me on that?
