R U SERIOUS!!!??? maidana just said Vic is bashing this guy left right and center in all of hes interviews just cuz maidana made him QUIT!!!! the guy didnt get KO'd this was not a brutal knock out..maidana made him QUIT!!!
and reporters keep mentioning madana's name always in hes interviews and seem to me hes getting very pissed off at it which i understand cuz it does get annoying but that dont mean u have the right to bash maidana cuz he beat u....its Vic's fault for making the decision to stop the fight!! the ref didnt stop the fight he didint get robbed from the fight the corner didnt throw the towel none of this...he made the decision for him self and he QUIT!!!Comment

Actually Marcos Maidana did want the rematch. Marcos Maidana said, "I would be more than happy to give him the rematch since I know how to fight him now." Victor Ortiz however, was absolutely terrified and decided to fight shot Antonio Díaz instead.
Additionally, Ortiz is moving up in weight to run from Marcos Maidana.Comment

Comments like this are how rumours get started. Ortiz never left 140 because he's running from Maidana...lolActually Marcos Maidana did want the rematch. He went up because he can't make that weight anymore, he's a very big 140lber. Ortiz' people wanted this fight very much but Maidana stalled because he knew he was going to get the Khan fight and didn't want to take an unnecessary risk.
I'm not a fan of Ortiz but he beats Maidana if they ever fight again. Maidana doesn't have the skills to fight with him and Ortiz quit, he wasn't ko'd.Comment

IDK Cuauht homie. Victor fights in a very unsure manner now(since he faced Maidana). He tries to Box off the back foot more often than not now. And he's unsure about attempting to finish hurt opponents(see Peterson fight). Vic should've stopped Peterson, but for some reason(I attribute it to the ghost of Maidana)couldn't pull the trigger. Marcos ****** him up right nicely.Comments like this are how rumours get started. Ortiz never left 140 because he's running from Maidana...lol

I couldn't agree more with you...
That being said, I would actually love to see Maidana move up to 147 and rematch Ortiz there. Marcos has had problems getting down in weight for a while now I believe, and I think the move up would go along way in improving his stamina IMO. Either that or he needs to work on his conditioning better and not have to drain himself so much right before a fight to make weight. Which ever way, I definately believe that not only would the networks buy the rematch in a second but the fans would go for it in a heartbeat. The interest would definately be there for a rematch, especially if Ortiz gets past Andre Berto and Maidana looks impressive against Morales (a sadly faded but true gritty warrior). Besides, there's real intrigue to see if Ortiz would quit again against Maidana (who some say took away his heart) when the going got rough.
Side note: It does seem silly for Ortiz to say Maidana is having nightmares about him, doesn't it? As someone else here pointed out, Ortiz was the one who opted not to continue because he was beat up - the only one who stopped that fight was himself. Hard to believe that Maidana would have bad dreams over that LOL!
