hopkins may have been the home fighter but calzaghe was the A fighter in that fight. the judges, ref, crowd, and hbo all favored him because they were priming him for bigger things to come(roy jones ppv was basically agreed upon already). hopkins was old news and they wanted to get rid of him. why would the establishment want a 43 year old boxer to win? can't make much money off of him so they gave calzaghe the fight. some of the judges gave calzaghe rounds 2 and 3 when he got dominated and didn't even land anything clean. hopkins never had a chance to win that fight.
all part of the growing conspiracy for "the man" (aka the establishment) to set up the superfight between calzaghe and pacquaio...

that darn establishment is so crafty. they tricked some people into thinking a bum like lacy was the next tyson. even after watching him struggle with omar sheika and donnell wiggins they still got them to believe. they are truly amazing.

that and his fear of flying, which is one of the reasons for his reluctance to test himself in the US.

"He wouldn't get on a plane. He said he had a fear of flying. Yet I can remember after one fight he flew to the West Indies for a holiday!

i'm sure there are many more but look how easy it is to find a couple articles in a couple minutes of searching.

Good old Frank. A fighter leaves him then he bad mouths them. See Hatton, Calzaghe and Khan too.

the other article has nothing to do with warren. it's an interview with calzaghe and the interviewer put that in his story. why would he put that if it's not true? also enzo calzaghe responded to warren's story and didn't deny any of it he just said he was disappointed in frank because joe did a lot for him. keep trying though! i admire your tenacity to keep defending a ducker in the face of overwhelming evidence.
