of course he said it. he used it as an excuse that he couldn't fight in america. obviously this was bullshi-t because he could be seen getting on a plane right after he said it. it proves he never wanted to fight in america and just wanted easy fights over and over but if you talk to a calzaghe fan they will say he was unfairly treated and never got the opportunity for big fights. he sabotaged his career on purpose by using that lame excuse. obviously he overcame his "fear" once hopkins and jones were old men. such a coincidence.
