what if muhammad ali refused to fight liston, frazier and foreman and instead fought terrell, faded patterson, and chuvalo. yeah those guys are good but people would say why isn't he fighting the best guys in their prime? well some clueless people would come up with excuses like foreman lives too far away, liston isn't a ppv star or frazier isn't the CEO of his own company.

Floyd for the past 8-9 years has gone for the second best option. At 140 it was Gatti he called out not Tszyu who was the champion. Would he have beaten Tszyu? Maybe but he decided to go with a weaker opponent so we'll never know. At 147 he went after Baldomir and not Cotto or Margs. Would he have beaten them? Who knows? Maybe? But Baldomir was the second best (safer) opponent. Manny I will admit picked the safer opponent in David Diaz but beyond that the man has always fought the very best and prime/close to prime elite first choices for MOST of his career as a P4P fighter (pay attention to the "most" part). Floyd does tend to go for the safer option.

*****s make excuses that the people Pac beat are shop worn, and that is all it is excuses. But Floyd must be the most well preserved boxer in the world or even history. As he has got a great defense, and to top it off he dont fight hardly. There isnt a better recipe for preserving yourself than that.

So if he beats Pac it is because Pac is shop worn. Thanks *****s for the ready excuse. Fight Pac by all means Floyd, but just let you know you wont get any credit for it, even if Pac is favoured to beat you.
Uphill battle for you here floyd. Can you rise to the occasion when you know people will discredit you even for beating Pac.

Until he signs the contract he couldn't have wanted the fights that badly? Am I right?

True, and he was also the first to beat Baldomir who everyone was calling the best Argentinean fighter ever before the fight too.

A guy 95% of NSB said he wouldnt fight?

Sure, you believe everything you say?

                  Let's see:
Mosley was the things you say he was because he beat a brickless Margarito around 16 months prior to the Floyd fight.

Besides it being 16 months prior and Margarito being brickless, you need to admit that Margarito also fits Mosley's style better.

BUT LET'S BE REAL, was that the same Mosley that showed up 16 months later?

                  the answer is NO!!!!

Now even add the fact that you guys have been saying, "its obvious that (a younger, more prime) Floyd needs a tuneup fight" after 1 year layoff BUT what would you say about a ~39 year old out of prime Mosley not having a tuneup fight and then having to fight Floyd?

The best proof: Floyd said BEFORE the fight with Mosley, my game plan will take into consideration that Mosley is now OLD!!!

So to put out those numbers is very deceptive as those were NOT numbers due to Mosley's 2010 accomplishments.

FINALLY: What have you and others said about Manny fighting Mosley when the possibility of them fighting came out just months after the Mosley vs Floyd fight? You all said Mosley is OLD, SHOT, out of prime, .....

So which "opinion" makes more sense to deduce which Mosley was fighting on May 2010? The comment you stated, that was due to fighting a brickless Margarito 16 months earlier or the NSB opinions just a few months later(ie. Mosley's old, ....)?
