but pac fought hatton at his best weight class (140lbs), and mayweather fought hatton at a higher weight class. so wouldn't it make sense to say that hatton was slower against mayweather because of the extra weight?

Very logical way of seeing it,but it did not look like that in each fight..Hatton looked much fresher and much faster against May imo...
