Clottey has a better defense than Bradley

I hate the turtle shell defense. I will take slipping punches with head and waist movement like Bradley, Floyd, and Ward over the turtle shell of Cotto, Clottey and Wright any day of the week. Bradley only stops using defense when he doesn't respect his opponents power. After Holt hit Bradley with the big shot in the first how many of those did he land in the following rounds? Compare the punches Peterson landed on Khan and Ortiz to the ones he struggled to land on Bradley.

I agree with this but I dont think Khan or Ortiz have any sense of Defense...Bradley has a little from what I have seen....his defense will be on display next Sat

Bradley has a very good defense and only Mayweather uses the pull-counter better than he does. Pac is not having any kind of an easy night.

i agree... if he swings wide like that with pacquiao.. hes gonna get tapped up with those str8 punches pac loves to throw. But its definitely a winnable fight for bradley.

Conventional wisdom would suggest that. Thing is plenty of wide swinging, wild punchers have felled technically superior, straighter punching adversaries.

Bradley's problem is he doesn't have the technique in his punching to cause any damage with his shots. The punches don't have much power. The crudeness of his technique is no advantage to him, unlike cavemen like Carlos Mayorga.
