  • Remember how The New Jersey commission steped up and suspended the judges that screwed Lara against Williams? There is some justice, but not in Nevada or Texas.

Did the judges score the rounds Bradley was wobbled to Bradley?? Or do you think that wobbling him in a couple of rounds means he wins all 12 rounds?

So right off the bat that's a quarter of the fight... There were a lot more close rounds than the bias commentary would lead u to believe, but it only makes sense to give those rounds to Manny becuz A. He's the star B. His punches land with more flash and authority C. He was the aggressor (although Bradley was by no means RUNNING)

But, if u didn't want to give those close rounds to Manny for those 3 reasons, than that would leave no more than 2 for Bradley... E.g. 5 rounds to 7 for Pac... It was a robbery
Bradley was the agressor..for about 2 to 2:30 minutes a round. Ineffective? Mostly. <__<...he was the agressor though especially early. Getting tagged for his troubles but he'd push the action for the first half.

Also, someone mentioned sound. Really? The loudest ones are the ones that LOOK like they landed when he'd lean to the side and get hit with a left...on the glove protecting the head. Loud? You bet. But it aint a landed blow. Slapping punches are very loud...croud can be loud, commentators, etc. doesn't mean it's a scoring /landed blow... If you concentrate on just watching you can see whats really landing from both sides instead of just watching one fighter's body making it seem he does all the work. When you have commentators talking so much about a fighter landing the straight left...guess what you keep looking for? Straight left...meanwhile the other fighter has thrown 25 punches to stay busy. I do NOT thing Bradley won this fight, but seeing is believing in this sport. It's hard not to look at one fighter when Lampley is so far up his a ss lol.

        • You are all eating the garbage Arum is shoveling and happily asking for more. Classic misdirection by Arum. Throw the judges under the bus. Throw Nevada under the bus.

Arum needs to be investigated, not Nevada.

          • You people are the ones that should be investigated. This fight was a close fight period, yes you could claim Pacman won but to claim this wasn’t a close fight is a laughable. Learn to score a fight

              • Interesting point regarding HBO and the scoring of the fight

First off, let me say I thought Pacquiao won the fight. But I had it closer than most people, I scored it 115-113 for Pac. Let me also say, I was at the fight live, not front row or anything but still had a pretty good view.

Now, the HBO crew thought the fight was onesided, and it reflected in their scoring and announcing. Now you can say that everyone in the media had it for Pacquiao as well. HOWEVER, nearly everyone in the media, like most of us, watched the fight on an HBO broadcast.

The judges obviously watched it live and not from HBO's perspective. Even Max Kellerman said that he polled people on pressrow and a lot thought Bradley won. Also, Brian Kenny, whose a pretty respected boxing guy, watched the fight on pressrow, scored it 116-112 for Bradley. Few others had it for Bradley as well.

My point is, isn't it interesting how the few people who thought Bradley won were also the people who were watching on pressrow, and not on HBO? If you do some research and look at the scores from media on pressrow, you'll see most had it very close, while the media that just watched it on HBO had it wide.

I know everyone on this board will dispel this and claim to be an unbiased boxing expert who calls it like it is, but you can't say when the crowd roars and Jim Lampley creams his pants everytime Pac throws a punch whether it lands or not, that anyone's perception wouldn't be affected.

anyway, just my 2 cents. thought Pac won a close decision, but felt this was no bigger a robbery than the Marquez fight

This. Arum is right about one thing. They are incredibly arrogant and refuse to think they do anything wrong.

Busted ear drums aren't brutal? He got touched up enough for four months to be pretty quick turn around.
