Will his legal problem with Uncle Bob be resolved? Unfortunately, probably not.
Look at arum's recent interview where he mentioned the word "active" regarding the legal issue.

              No he wont

unfortunately his wife(manager) and him didnt read the fine print of his current contract or didnt ask anyone about the binding agreement between TR & GBP and are now caught up in litigation because of the suit he filed. Until its resolved(at least a couple months) he'll be sitting on the shelf(while his wave of popularity slows to a stream). Its unfortunate too since i think TR had a good plan for him...unified fight with moreno, if Agbeko wins another unified fight with him (because he's with DKP) and then move up and get those big name fighters

I don't think that the "binding agreement" between TR and Golden Balls really was the major point of the ongoing litigation. Except that it brings to the FOREFRONT that Donaire STILL has an active contract with Top Rank.

It's so obvious that nobody seems to see it. The STANDARD contract they have, desn't expire until JUNE TWENTY FIFTH, still 3 full months away. THEN.....Top Rank has the option of extending it for ANOTHER FULL YEAR.... THEN...... any medical ban time is EXCLUDED from their normal contract and added to the term. This comes to ANOTHER year.

I'm CERTAIN that NONE of this was in "the small print' but in the usual clauses that pertain to contracts all over the world. like clause a,b,c,,d etc or clause 1,2,3,4..4a 4b 4b etc.

Donaire and Golden Balls have got themselves into a fine legal mess with Top Rank, and it's I'm sure the fault of Golden Balls who seem to think that it's their mission in life to steal away good fighters from Top Rank.

They did exactly the same thing with Manny P. when he was STILL under a Top Rank contract, contrary to whay the ignorant on this site keep saying (and there are so many of them) out of pure unreasoning hatred of Bob Arum, the Greatest promoter in Boxing history.

But, unfortunately....... a ***............ And *** hatred is growing all the tiime and it has no ending.

Just one little thing more. In Manny P's contract with Top Rank, there was a clause (not in the fine print) which FORBADE him to even discuss signing with another company whilst still under a Top Rank contract. it was THAT which buggered up Oscar's whole low intellligence level cunning plan of waylaying Manny P. straight at the airport after an exhausting 16 hour flight etc.etc.

I admired Oscar''s boxing ability, but not his character.
