He is talking like hes won it already...rightfully so but hey its been a tourney full of surprises...I wouldint be surprised if he got beaten...as for Bute he just wants an easy win...I think that easy win belongs to Kessler should Ward win
which he is expected to do...but who knows.

Kessler has the tools to beat Bute, and Bute is def the money fight @ 168. I'm sure Andre wants to get to Bute before Kessler or say Froch(who spoke out recently) does. If he wins the Super Six but one of these two go on to fight Bute afterwards and win, then the payday goes right out the window.Last edited by Eastbay Giant; 03-31-2011, 06:22 PM.

BUTE the same guy that was ktfo & saved by ref. WHo fights only bums, how is Bute top
168lbs if all he has fought are bums? Bute needs to step up his competition and than we can condider him among the top. **** I think Froch would beat him.

I don't recall Green landing a single substantial blow in that fight.
Bika staggered Ward quite a bit with his power shots.
And I am not taking credit away from Ward, the reason why none of the above were able to punch him effectively are his technical methods, however unsightly they may be.
Now, considering that those three, who I would say are all better technical boxers than Abraham, were not able to tag Ward often, Abraham has even less of a chance of landing crisp. But all he needs is one shot, and Ward is open sometimes, as he was especially in the early and latter parts of the Bika bout. If Abraham is able to land a haymaker like the several Bika delivered in the 12th, it's Andre "Lights Out" Ward. He could be winning the entire fight and lose it all in an instant if he gets careless. Some may say that Abraham's power is overrated, but so is Ward's chin.

I believe Ward and Froch can beat Bute. About Kessler vs Bute I am not so sure, if Kessler can somehow stay out of range of the left uppercut he has a chance. In most of Bute's last fights he fought against guys who come (straight) at him, which is greatly to Bute's advantage, because he can throw uppercuts all the time. The guys in the super six are more clever and skilled they should understand Bute's favorite scheme and won't charge at him straight...

I don't think Ward is that GREAT.
I don't think he has fought but one great fight and that was with Kessler, styles make fights.
I think Froch will beat him.
I believe that Abe can beat him. This is ABES to lose. Ward likes to come forward and bully you , just down ABE's alley.
Ward can whup ABE if he runs like Dirrell and pops
Dirrell should whip WARD.

I'll grant that Bute has looks like a 1a when he fight. But against whom?
He really oughta' fight Kessler or somebody of that quality ASAP.
Until then he'll not be given what he feels is his due in terms of respect and acclaim.
