  • Comments Thread For: Andre Ward Won't Overlook Abraham, But Wants Bute Shot

Andre Ward is a deeply religious, married, father of two young sons and a daughter.

But Ward is also a fighter who earned his Olympic gold in 2004, two years after having endured the death of his father, for whom his trainer, Virgil Hunter, has stepped in and become a male role model. [Click Here To Read More]

If Ward goes on to beat Abraham, then Froch. And faces Bute to be undisputed and becomes that, he very well should be number 1, flat out, these wins he will put together including these last couple trumps Pac and Martinez, IMO, but it depends on Pac - mosley and his next fight and what opposition Martinez faces

totally agree with that....if he cleans out 168 given the quality in that division then he deserves to sit somewhere very high on p4p list. easily top5 along with donaire, pac, martinez.
dont think abraham gives him any trouble...froch is very rugged and i think if ward came to brawl then he could be in trouble because that plays into frochs hands. i think whooever wins the super 6 beats bute.

When Froch's uppercut crashes on FrWards chin then he'll be eating mush for the next couple of months let alone facing Bute.

lol I got points on that non sense y'all talking, I have see reasons why y'all think Abraham will beat Ward, just haven't seen a legit one, and Froch? Froch? Abraham won't be able to throw again, Froch is gonna have to fight on the inside, because Wards pressure is gonna force him, he's gonna smother his punches and his so called power will be ineffective. I mean Ward is on another level

Ward ate what Kessler, Green and Bika had to offer.

Ward talking about Bute a lot lately.

He knows that as good as his comp is in the Super 6, nobody can claim to be no.1 until he fights Bute. I'm glad he wants to seal the deal after the Super six is over, if he wins it.
