Oscar starts Golden Boy and his position gets stronger, King loses his stronghold. All of a sudden Boxing is a dead/dying/niche sport?

    You do the math...

Boxing would be much better off being run by guys who can't even read contracts? Stop it
That's why I said he already did his thing in boxing, now he(Arum) should retire cause he's the 1 killing the sport by being GREEDY with his "In House Only Fights" & the ONLY way he'll let his fighters face another promoters fighter is if his fighter is the HEAVY FAVORITE!! King has been off the board for a while now, along with the Duva's(Main Events) & Kushner..Yet De La Hoya's "Golden Boy" has ONLY been around for 9 years & is already at the same level that "Top Rank" is, so "Golden Boy" must be doing something rite.... & DeLaHoya, DiBella & Goosen are the ONLY ones that aren't scare to face their fighters against other promoters fighters that are at par with their own fighters or even if their fighter is the underdog!! If Arum wasn't so damm greedy & was more like DeLaHoya & DiBella & Goosen, boxing today would be at it's best, just like the glory days that U mentioned..So now U do the math..

Back then, Top Rank was a fledgling company, they were forced to interact with other promoters/rivals. Now that lying ****bag has entrenched himself such a gigantic foothold within the sport, he pretty much runs things how he wants. Which is, in-house fights, and greedy cumbersome contracts which bind the fighter to Top Rank. You gotta damn near sell your soul to him, like Manny has done.

The sport of boxing will be much better off when Arum retires/dies.

Yes, I am well-aware that DuBoef/Trampler and co. will continue to run the company..... but they will be forced to run it a lot more openly and honestly than Bob Arum ever has.
Arum put together some of the biggest fights of recent times, alot of them with Golden Boy and rival promoters. Golden Boy are getting everything they deserve right now after trying to ruin the name and career of Arum's #1 asset, and the sports leading figure, by trying to taint Pac as a drug cheat, and in of all places the Ring Mag. Golden Boy are also suing Top Rank trying to steal some more money from Pac's fights, the guy they tried to ruin. Why would anyone do business with someone that's suiing them? Let alone an outfit as unprofessional and amateurish as Golden Boy has been shown up to be.

Golden Boy don't have many great fighters left anyway, so it's no biggie. TR can make the most exciting matchups without them. Marquez-Pac will happen without them too. They won't stop working with other promoters, if anything to freeze out Golden Boy. If Golden Boy folds because of this, then it will end up being great for boxing. They've made no secret they want a UFC monopoly where they can control and enslave fighters and limit what they're paid so their company can make UFC type profits and Oscar can become the first billionaire boxer, which he said is his dream.

I am not interested in your " rah rah Manny-waffle ".

This has nothing to do with the Pac-circus.

The day that you stop looking at Top Rank as Manny's boss, you will see that Bob Arum is no friend of this sport.

Arum is fleecing Manny right now dude, and he is fighting faded no-hopers

I hate Bob Arum, Don King and GBP with a passion. They are all greedy scumbags. I remember when ODLH said he was going to be a promoter and that he would do it right. He would care about the fighters because they were the ones taking punches, I've been in the ring before and blah, blah, blah. I believed him and wanted him to succeed. But when he tried to lure Manny away with a suitcase full of cash even though he knew Pacquiao resigned with Bob Arum, I lost all respect for him. Now he was Don King, praying on a fighter with a lower education and try to swindle them. They can all go to hell, rot in the earth and burn for eternity...

              Trampler's lips are chapped...

What an obvious ass kissing job by Trampler, I don't blame him after the lousy job he and the rest of those "great" matchmakers at TR have been doing, with such classics like Donaire-Montiel and Gamboa-Solis........
