hopkins isnt a dummy, he knows that the fight sells better up there, also, that beating pascal in front of his hometown will be worse on pascal, this puts a lot of pressure on pascal, fighting at his hometown, and after all this trash talk and accusations, the pressure is mounting up on pascal big time.

now he(pascal) has to produce because anything short of pascal looking spectacular, pascal is going to feel the pressure from his fans, as well as the pressure being applied by hopkins......


i'm predicting that we wont see much more pf pascal after this fight, this is his last or next to last fight, his soul is going to be eaten by the soul eater hopkins..............

I always said that if there was anything left of Pascal AFTER Hop finishes with him....I would support the dude because I THOUGHT he was cool and I liked his trash talkin'....he had some nice jokes....BUT now I just wanna see him destroyed and his career tombstoned....the nerve of that chump to pull that stunt he pulled at the presser in Canada...smh!!

pascal is very talented solid fighter the guy has alot of flaws but he is exciting to watch but i didnt the dude will explode like this on B-hop like that cuz he dont look like a guy with that attitude maybe hes annoyed with people telling him he lost the fight and he should have done better but the truth is the guy cant do nothing else what he showed that day is what u gona get in the rematch and B-hop already has this guy figured out

To say he doesn't sell is silly. Sells out AC convention center everytime he fights there. Look at the stats against Pavlik. He's going up to Canada for one simple reason, and that's to prove he can beat this guy. B-hop is old fashion, and respects a champ...and he wan'ts to do nothing but beat this guy in his home court.

This is gonna be a war. They don't like each other, everyone saw the fight. Pascal was all beat up, hopkins look like he didn't even go the distance. Pascal gotta gift and he knew it and continued to to talk trash as if he did the right thing. Don't get me wrong, this kid is a hell of a fighter. Packs a punch and moves around the ring quick. But he doesn't know how to fight a guy that fights old school. Froch beat him that way..that "old fashion beat down style"

You're right, he can't sell. He doesn't have a shtick to sell on.

He isn't a exciting blood & guts, come forward, take punches kinda guy. And he isn't Hispanic. Those guys basically sell out just with the nationality factor. Hispanic boxing fans are more patriotic and loyal to their fighters.

The days of Joe Louis - where the black Americans would come out in huge numbers to support you, are over. Even in Philly, he can't gather 10k fans who will come out to his fight.
