NEW YORK - The first fight between WBC and Ring Magazine Light Heavyweight World Champion Jean Pascal and former Two-Division World Champion and Future Hall of Famer Bernard "The Executioner" Hopkins last December was one of the most talked-about fights of that year, with fans across the continent hotly debating the outcome to this day. Whatever side was taken, everyone agreed on one thing...they wanted to see it again. On Saturday May 21, Pascal and Hopkins will give everyone what they want when they meet in "Dynasty II: Pascal vs. Hopkins" at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada. The world championship bout will be televised live on HBO's World Championship Boxing in the United States and televised live on pay-per-view in Canada. A 12-round light heavyweight bout between former World Champions Chad Dawson and Adrian Diaconu will also be featured on the telecast.

hopkins isnt a dummy, he knows that the fight sells better up there, also, that beating pascal in front of his hometown will be worse on pascal, this puts a lot of pressure on pascal, fighting at his hometown, and after all this trash talk and accusations, the pressure is mounting up on pascal big time.

now he(pascal) has to produce because anything short of pascal looking spectacular, pascal is going to feel the pressure from his fans, as well as the pressure being applied by hopkins......


i'm predicting that we wont see much more pf pascal after this fight, this is his last or next to last fight, his soul is going to be eaten by the soul eater hopkins..............

also, the canadian dollar is up, a little more than the US dollar, so if they get paid in Canadian dollars, the exchange rate benefits hopkins coming back to the US........ at least in theory......

not sure if that was the smartest thing to do from pascal.

hopkins tends to raise the bar when he's the underdog and when he's after something historic. Now he made it personal.

So hopkins will be fighting for history (to become the oldest person to win a world champsionip) and he personally wants to destroy pascal. Those are two very big motivational points for hopkins.

I always said that if there was anything left of Pascal AFTER Hop finishes with him....I would support the dude because I THOUGHT he was cool and I liked his trash talkin'....he had some nice jokes....BUT now I just wanna see him destroyed and his career tombstoned....the nerve of that chump to pull that stunt he pulled at the presser in Canada...smh!!

If B-Hop beats Pascal, I seriously doubt he'll face Dawson. B-Hop is very smart when it comes to who he fight, he takes fights he can win and i don't think he can win that one.
