Don King ADMITS that Golota was robbed against John Ruiz and Chris Byrd

Is John Ruiz suing King as well or something?

Never saw either fight personally, but in a quote in the reputable UK publication Boxing News, Don said "Lamon Brewster is the man to watch. He stopped Andrew Golota in 52 seconds after Golota had beaten Byrd and Ruiz but not been given the decision.

I thought Vitali Klitschko may have unified the titles but he's too busy running and hiding."

King also mentioned that he'd made offers to Audley Harrison but "Audley has chosen his path. If he wants greatness, he knows where to come, but he'll continue doing it his way until he gets the rude awakening."

The same edition of the magazine (September 16th) mentions BoxingScene.com and quotes from David Sauvage's column on Castillo-Corrales II.

It's ironic that King was the one responsible for Golota losing those two decisions and did not say or do anything about it and now that both of those fighters are suing him he throws out a statement like that. Anyone who takes this guy serious is a ****ing ******* just like him.

I think Ruiz definitely beat Golota on points. To the Contrary I definitely think Golota beat Byrd on points. I can easily see that fight being scored 8 rounds to 4. Byrd was extremely inactive. And Golota's body punches were hurting Byrd bad. Only way you could have scored that fight for Byrd is if you dont count body punches. Even ones that clearly do damage.

Also on at least one occasoin Golota landed a bodyshot, and byrd cringed over clearly in pain and touched his glove to the canvas and it was not called a knockdown.

I think the Byrd fight was closer than the Ruiz fight.

the only guys that golota legitly lost to are lennox lewis and lamon brewster, the other guys he gave a good fight to.

golota/byrd was a close robbery. golota won it fair and square but he didnt really dominate, he did just enough to win, but he still lost.

golota/ruiz was a pure blind robbery. its like this, golota KDs ruiz twice in round 2 and ruiz has a point deducted for hitting on the break and YET he STILL wins?! gimme a ****ing break!
