This is exactly what I've been saying. Most people picked Gamboa to beat Solis. It's how decisively and thoroughly he did it that made the win impressive.

When Mayweather beat JMM and "Sugar," few people were surprised. It was how thoroughly he beat these men that made the wins impressive, IMO.

In a way I agree with the OP and I'm a huge Gamboa fan, don't know why people are freaking out about his opinion. Gamboa went in there and did what he was suppose to do, I even predicted around the same round it happened before the fight. It was also evident Solis was just there for a paycheck, and as soon as he felt Gamboa's power and speed he pretty much knew it was over. Good win for Gamboa but I really wanna see him in there with the Lopez and Chris John's of the world, he's ready for that no more journeymen.
