Calzaghe blasts Show, Lacy!

LOL. Lacy has plenty of interesting fights to make (Kessler, Beyer, Mundine...) and has no need to rush. The guy has many more years to go. Calzaghe is older and needs a career defining fight right now. It doesn't help that he gets injured if he opens an envelope too vigorously.

Bottom line - the fight will be worth more in the UK, so it will happen there if Joe can avoid serious injury while combing his hair. Lacy must surely know that Calzaghe is not going to help draw fans to a US fight, where most US fans have never seen Calzaghe. It's a business and the fight makes more sense to place in the UK.

I still see the fight coming off in February in the UK. Lacy will take a tune up against a tough challenger in November, and be super motivated and look terrific. Calzaghe will get injured just watching that fight.
