John has been inactive and on the slide over the past few years, he didn't look too good in his last fight.

I think Gamboa stops him at this point.

      Right now Gamboa.

4 or 5 years ago, this was an even fight.

Chris John is an underrated fighter.

At his peak he was a very good fighter.

Difficult to judge now but if he comes back and beats a legit contender at 126 then he still most definitely has a shot with Gamboa.

I really think Gamboa should just fight him in Indonesia.

I think Gamboa stops John at this point, it would have been a good fight with the John of a few years ago.

Boxingking,if you're curious about John vs Gamboa, how do you think Gamboa would beat Pacquiao?

He won every round on my card if I remember correctly.

Considering Saucedo has done nothing of note in his entire career I guess the fact John didn't take him out was a let down. Then again he is a tough Argentine.

I think John should get another fight under his belt against a contender at 126 before he judge whetehr he'd done or not yet.

No way should he go straight in there with Gamboa.

                He's fighting Yordan in April.

Still, he looks slower and has been pretty inactive. I wouldn't be surprised if he's struggling with weight, TBH.

Years ago, it'd be a very good fight, if you're going to beat Gamboa, you're going to have to control distance, going into his range really won't work IMO.

That's why I think Lopez will have trouble.

Oh is he? I didn't know that.

I agree, I would imagine he's really fading now. I wouldn't bet on him beating Gamboa at this point.

Most definitely. John is tremendously underrated on here.
