Threadstarter is obviously overstating when referring to Pirog as "a joke".


But, I agree with him; Pirog is vastly overrated already and that's what's making (or will make) him a joke as far as this forum goes. He is good, but he is not that good.

You guys were just expecting a highlight reel ko again. This is the fighter Pirog is. He moves around with his awkward very good defense, throws a lot of pitty pat shots, and looks for 1-2 hard punches a round. Marciel had pretty good defense, and Pirog couldn't find an opening, so he easily outpointed him.

Does it mean Pirog sucks ... No.

I guarantee most of you have only seen 2 of his fights.

I'll admit I don't like majority of them but it certainly isn't a racist thing. It's a sexual thing for me. Most white boxers just don't make me erect when I watch them. I only become sexually excited by watching black dudes.

Funny but certainly not true, Tun. People still have not had a good answer to my comments though. They either are attacking me personally or cutting Pirog slack because he is "young"(despite being as old or older than most established P4P fighters). The young excuse is over in my book. He is going to be turning 31 years of age. Time to step up or just become another what if, in the history books of boxing. My criticism is well warranted.
