He moves around with his awkward very good defense, throws a lot of pitty pat shots, and looks for 1-2 hard punches a round. Marciel had pretty good defense, and Pirog couldn't find an opening, so he easily outpointed him.

Pirog is an average fighter and thats why I couldnt understand the concept that Martinez is avoiding him. Martinez would kill him at this point.

I think Pirog is a fighter who boxes according to the level of his opponent. Trust me, this kid is capable of some great things. He may lose a couple of fights along the way, but he is going to have a strong, strong career ahead of him.

At his age If he is not ready now he will never be. I think he is one of the better fights right now for Sergio at middle weight so the fight should happen. Unless Sergio wants to fight Ward and Bute at 168. Pirog looked good to me today.

Even though i love martinez i'm still picking pirog to win against him.His fight today i'm not going to carry so much weight on it.I know with martinez it will be a different fight.Styles make fights.
