I went with Calzaghe mostly because his best wins came against old men, (Jones, Hopkins and Eubank, and against Robin Reid which was debatable and last Kessler which was a good win. no excuse there.)

Calzaghe easily. His only credible win his Kessler really and having a close fight with Hopkins which was a 50/50 fight. The whole boxing world is split on who won that fight.

And it's not even to hate but when you put his resume against all those it's just flat out weak compared to those. He missed out on fighting a lot of solid fighters like Glenn Johnson, Antonio Tarver, and even though he would have spanked Pavlik he still should have fought him. Or rematch Hopkins since that fight was so close.

He'll always been known as the greatest super middleweight champion(at least for now) and as a damn good fighter(although he couldn't punch for ***** he was pretty damn fast) but he'll never go down as great in my book. Just left to much to be desired.

                Calzaghe and Mayweather are tied.

both claim to fame by beating over the hill HOFers. Hopkins and RJJ vs ODLH and Mosley

Hopkins and RJJ are better wins imo. look what Hopkins did after Calzaghe.

I reckon Calzaghes top 5 are:

                  1: Kessler
                  2: Hopkins
                  3; Lacy
                  4: Eubank
                  5: Reid

Lacy might look bad today, but at the time it was a great outclassing win.

                    I disagree.

Eubank hadn't looked good in years and wasn't in the top 10 at 168. Plus his 2 remaining fights after the Calzaghe loss show how much he had left, I don't even rank that as a good win.

The other 4 you said I woul consider his best wins though.
