How pumped are you today. I'm jealous. Who else is on the card?

I know, the AC fights are the only ones that I could ever really go to on short notice (east coast thing) and I've never been to a live fight....man, that would be freaking great to make a trip out of it. I'd hate to go by myself and my friends would not fork over the dough based on boxing alone, they would want to drop a couple g's in the casinos instead

Sweet, I like seeing up and coming guys break out on HBO before they get caught up in the fame thing. They tend to work harder than they do once they are established as "stars" in a sense. Once guys make it onto HBO more than a few times, they sometimes lose that grit and determination in exchange for the pedestal treatment and a big paycheck.

I seriously doubt Martinez is ducking Pirog if he is calling out the perceived best guys in boxing.

I'm not saying Pirog is easy to hit but he did not look really impressive today.

Pavlk was a GIANT compared to Martinez and outweighed him by 11 pounds on fight night.

Williams was also at 160 long before Martinez made the jump up from 154 on 3 weeks notice too.

My only question is why hasn't HBO put Pirog back on their station or Showtime for that matter, since the Jacobs fight?

He's calling out a retired fighter who would never face him for all the gold in the world and a natural LW. Come on now.

Pavlik is a big MW, 1" taller than Pirog, but if Sergio is MW Champ isn't it reasonable for him to fight MW's, preferably ones not named Mafredo, Chavez, Zbik, Lee since non are elite?

Williams can't take a MW punch. There are quite a few JMW's who's punch i doubt he could take.
