I know I've had to see this Garcia dude before (I've dvd'd like every live boxing event either on HBO, Showtime, and ESPN2 for the past 4 years)
Sometimes the names become a blur to me, especially the Hispanic fighters because so many have similar last names. Is his fight going to be televised tonight as the undercard?
Garcia's last fight against Lontchi was on the Top Rank PPV undercard of Donaire-Sydorenko and Soto-Antillon. Before that he was on a Top Rank Live undercard against Cornelius Lock.Comment

No sorry. If he thought if he had a bad performance he would get a fight with Sergio, he's insane. Sergio isn't Pacquiao.
Sergio even said that Pirog was on a level below him, and I agree with him 100%. How can anyone claim Sergio is ducking that man after that performance he just had?
Pirog isn't as easy to hit as PW or Dzyna and he isn't a Jr MW... How did Martinez's power do against the 1 MW he fought?Comment

It's funny too because I'm always the one working out and running and stuff and they are always complaining about being fat and how they need to lose weight. I tell them, they need to watch boxing and look up some boxing training techniques and get out of the poker chairs and golf carts and melt that flab away like a boxer does before a match, lol.Comment

Yes Garcia-Remillard is televised, and Nick Charles will be guest commentating that fight.

I'm not saying Pirog is easy to hit but he did not look really impressive today.
Pavlk was a GIANT compared to Martinez and outweighed him by 11 pounds on fight night.
Williams was also at 160 long before Martinez made the jump up from 154 on 3 weeks notice too.
My only question is why hasn't HBO put Pirog back on their station or Showtime for that matter, since the Jacobs fight?Comment

I'm always telling them about great upcoming fights but it's always the same thing: "who? I've never heard of him, he must be a bum" They'd rather go play golf and poker (which is fun from time to time) instead of chilling and getting hyped up over a great, competitive boxing match.

Ahhh, got you , I did see the fight. I knew the name was really familiar and there was some big hype behind him (not calling him a hype job just saying that he is creating a buzz). I hope his fight will be aired tonight...Comment
